February Its Loveable spots month. This is just a great sitting, we photograph all the close up details of your beautiful child. Such as little fingers and hands, toes and feet,very close up face portraits… maybe some peering through open hands, cute little bottoms,and maybe holding hands with mom, dad or bigger brother or sister. Then we pick 9 of
theses images and frame them in a collection. The sitting includes the frame and matt
of your choice. The price for sitting fee and 9 black and white prints to fill it is just

March We will begin photographing the Baby Easter Animals by the 2nd week and continue until the end of this month. We already have our baby animals lined up, just don’t have exact dates yet. Remember if you come in for the first week you can get Easter cards back in time. Or maybe even an Easter Statue to add to your holiday decorations. These sittings are so beautiful with lots of emotions. Images of children holding, playing and just enjoying the live animal experience, it is something the do not forget easily. We still have those little ones coming in to see Santa and ask: “Where the lamb and bunnies?” |

April This is a wonderful time do to a Fresh Flower Sitting. We bring in tulips, gerber daisies and just have lots of fun creating fresh spring portraits. This is a fantastic time to think black and white with a touch of color. Stay simple and classic in outfits and let the flowers speak for themselves. We do have boys and girls together, maybe sitting on a suitcase passing flowers, or just lying around in a pile of flower petals. Please call with any other ideas you may have and share them with us. We are willing to try just about anything… |

May It’s a Party by the little lake near our studio. We have created some stunning portraits at this location. It’s just about a block away from our studio and has the perfect little weeping willow tree… it’s great for tea parties, which we have the tea table and accessories for. Very fun for birthday parties!! We use the tea table and add balloons and presents and hats! Bring all your little stuffed friends for your own little personal party… it’s just so cute!! Picnic parties are super for the whole family. Bring your favorite blanket and family book!! We provide the picnic basket and the ability to capture your family having fun. Fishing parties are fun for boy’s splash a little in the water with a bucket and a pole. Lots of fun, they won’t want it to end!! Remember Mothers day… Wouldn’t she love a Dress up sitting with her children playing with Moms scarves, shoes, jewelry photographed in Sepia tone.. How awesome!! Or a Collection Sitting of the kids alone or with dad and the kids just for mom. Or try a new scrapbook kit assembled for mom to just add to her book …call for details… |

June Family Fun Days… We like to start in the 2nd week when the flowers are truly blossoming and head over to our favorite park in Shelby. This is a very fun place to create a family album.Bring grandparents and the whole gang!! There is a beautiful path for walking, lots of ducks to feed and fish to see!! They have an incredible flower garden we can put a blanket in the middle of and just bring about some wonderful family images. The sitting fees are included with the“Family Coffee Table Book Package” as well as a DVD with all the images designed with music. This package includes an on location sitting and an in studio sitting, this ensures we have enough images to create 10 pages to the book. This would make any set of grandparents an excellent Christmas or anniversary gift. So Plan ahead and invite the whole family out!!! Remember Dadsthis month!! Maybe try a sitting with all of dad’s favorite things. Bring his tie or his football, let us create a portrait just for him. Collection Sittings are also available of mom and kids. July Patriotic Specials… We have some great ideas to do a very patriotic portrait. Flags in all sizes… Wrapped up in them, laying on them, or just flying them.. These could be great images in black and white with a touch of color. Very fun for Forth of July cards!!! Let us create something just to remind you how fortunate we are for our freedom. We may also be still available in the park depending on availability in June… call for details!! We may be closed a few days for the holiday this month. August Train Track Treasures… We found a very cool set of train tracks in the area! So we have added a wonderful collection of wooden trains and trucks to do some amazing portraits! That’s right…we take the boys, girls, or both outside to the train tracks… add a conductor hat and overalls and a bandana…and they look just perfect playing trains and trucks at the train tracks. These tracks have some great elephant grass along side of them so there are some other great photographic opportunities we will be sure to
capture in these images…. |

September Christmas Christmas Christmas… We want to start very early in the month capturing either formal Christmas or fun Christmas!!! October Pumpkin Patch in our studio, Fall Family Days in the Park, and Halloween Toy drive portraits! Our Family Days fill quickly! We may only have two weekends, to choose from this year due to our wedding schedule, so call in early August for your appointment. Van Hoosen Museum and Farms and Heritage Gardens are the parks we go to or remember we can come to a location of your choice any other available day this month; regular sitting fees would apply. We will have pumpkin patch goodies on hand for your studio sittings all month. Free 5x7 with Toy donation for Children’s Hospital on Halloween Day!! No tricks, just treats! |

November Santa is Here… Small packages will be available selected that day without proofs. We are also encouraging sittings for Santa this year. This way you may select your images from proofs and we can try some different things with Santa.. Reading with him, hugging him, telling him a story, sleeping on our couch while he sneaks by. We may also talk Mrs. Claus into stopping in for a visit on this day! Call for details in the beginning of October, or look out for the email newsletter reminder. As usual it will be the Saturday after Thanksgiving… November 25th!! Book early it’s going to be fun day… the best Santa Weekend ever!! |

December Last minute Christmas… It takes just a few weeks for proofs and we carry a lovely selection of collections frames. So consider the daddy baby, mommy baby, or kids alone. Collection sitting frames are selected at the time of the sitting and the finished product assembled for delivery by Christmas. Call for details if you’re down to the last minute. We will more than likely be closed between Christmas and New Year as we generally are. However, if you have family in town or another special event, don’t hesitate to call.
